This degree integrates a comprehensive education in engineering, engineering management, and business, providing analytical tools and techniques to grasp essential processes and technologies across the engineering sector. As an engineering program with a business focus, it builds foundational scientific, mathematical, and technical skills to comprehend designs and systems, while fostering management expertise, business model development, entrepreneurship, financial management, accounting, and project management.Practical projects strengthen systems thinking, and an optional industry placement enhances engineering knowledge and employability. Core elements include computer science, embedded systems, digital electronics, data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, sensor systems, and robotics, alongside employability skills. Students may select optional modules from Brunel’s engineering departments for added expertise in civil, mechanical, aerospace, or chemical engineering. The program anticipates accreditation by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, aligning with other degrees from Brunel’s Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Strong industry partnerships and placement opportunities further elevate professional credentials.The MEng Engineering with Business is a four-year undergraduate course (five years with placement) awarding a master’s qualification; a three-year BEng (four years with placement) is also available.
