If you have a passion for film, fascination with behind-the-scenes production, and a desire to use professional equipment for your own projects, consider Digital Film Production at BCU. This course develops essential skills from script to screen using industry-standard sound, camera, lighting gear, and software like Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Logic Pro. You will explore narrative design, camera/lens selection, digital workflows, and post-production techniques, building a comprehensive portfolio while gaining knowledge in audiovisual technologies, production processes, and industry contexts, including the physics of sound/light and digital manipulation.An optional professional placement year after your second year allows a full year with an employer, supported by the University's networks and Careers teams. Secure a relevant placement to transfer to the placement version; fees apply at 20% of the full-time rate.
