Our MBChB Medicine programme equips you for a medical career by emphasising compassionate patient partnerships within multidisciplinary teams. Over five years, the curriculum divides into two phases: the first builds on your science foundation with topics like body structure, infection, and pathology, while the second immerses you in clinical settings through placements in areas such as cancer care and integrated medicine. You'll develop clinical skills, critical thinking, and lifelong learning habits, preparing you to become a Foundation Doctor.In Phase 1 (Years 1-2), you'll study physiology, pharmacology, and public health, gaining early clinical exposure. Phase 2 (Years 3-5) focuses on practical experience with doctors and healthcare professionals, supplemented by lectures, workshops, and student-selected components, including research opportunities.
