Our Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours) offers a comprehensive foundation in the essential knowledge, principles, and technical and professional skills required for mechanical engineering. Students will engage in core courses that address key elements of mechanical design, including solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, dynamics, vibration, control, and thermodynamics.A diverse selection of electives allows students to either explore various topics or specialise in areas such as advanced materials and mechanics, humanitarian engineering, or net-zero transitions. Beyond theory, the program includes practical opportunities like design-and-build projects, workshops, and up to 450 hours of industry placement, ensuring graduates possess the skills to excel as qualified mechanical engineers.
