Radio Producer-Presenter
Radio producer-presenters are in charge of managing the content of audio programmes broadcast via radio, the internet and other mobile mediums and are also the personality and voice behind the microphone.
Involved in the entire production and broadcasting process, radio producer-presenters are essentially a radio producer and broadcast presenter rolled into one.
From generating ideas, recording voice-overs and teasers and going live on-air to monitoring the programme ratings post-broadcast, radio producer-presenters have a lot to oversee. In the course of their jobs, they will collaborate with production assistants, station managers, executive producers, marketing communication personnel, engineers and technical staff.
Radio producer-presenters typically hold degrees (or diplomas) in media studies, mass communication or film and sound engineering, and may work in private or public broadcasting organisations.
If producing radio programmes and going on air to present those shows sounds good to you, consider becoming a radio producer-presenter!
