Human rights lawyers and others trained in human rights law advocate to protect and legally recognize the dignity and worth of every person, ensuring that the oppressed know they are not alone.York Law School's LLB in International Human Rights equips you with the skills and experience to contribute confidently to social justice efforts in the UK and worldwide. Through a problem-based learning (PBL) approach, you will develop as a problem solver and creative, critical thinker, collaborating to analyze real-world human rights violations and pursue remedies. The program covers the global norms, institutions, and processes safeguarding rights, as well as strategies to drive change.
