At Strathclyde, our Accounting and Finance program ranks second in the UK (Complete University Guide 2023) and emphasizes the creation of wealth, creativity, resourcefulness, and change exploitation. Students develop essential skills for launching businesses or driving organizational entrepreneurship, while gaining practical industry experience through placements in Years 3 and 4. Insights from guest lecturers, including industry experts and alumni, enrich the learning experience.This course explores the preparation, presentation, and interpretation of financial information to support decision-making for investors, managers, and stakeholders. Accredited by leading bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and others, it equips students to analyze annual reports and public sector data. Focused on business enterprise, it targets aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders, with an emphasis on sector-specific understanding. Note that this program does not award Qualified Teacher Status.
