As part of Sony's PlayStation First Academic Program, participants gain access to professional tools and hardware, developing games from concept to completion. Taught by experienced academics and industry experts, the program includes opportunities for industry interaction through guest lectures, game jams, and networking events. Graduates are well-equipped for careers in gameplay, AI, audio, and more, with many securing positions at companies like Activision and Rockstar. The award upon completion is a BSc (Hons) in Computer Games Development.Core modules progress from foundational programming and asset creation in year one, to AI, C++ for engines, and collaborative projects in year two, and advanced topics like mobile development and prototyping in year three.
