Our BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence program is designed to build a solid academic foundation and practical skills for success in a fast-growing field. It emphasizes hands-on projects, industry platforms, and certifications in AWS and Microsoft Azure, alongside work placement opportunities with companies locally, nationally, and internationally. Students gain expertise in AI principles, including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing, through immersive learning with tools like PyCharm and languages such as Python and Java. Collaborations with Microsoft and Amazon enhance employability by focusing on real-world AI development and deployment.The curriculum includes core modules across four years: Year 1 covers algorithms, programming, and AI applications; Year 2 delves into advanced machine learning and data analytics; Year 3 offers a placement; and Year 4 includes computer vision, natural language processing, and a dissertation. Assessment is primarily practical, aligning with the discipline's applied nature.
