Your four-year degree will be based at one the largest marine science communities in Europe, the National Oceanographic Centre Southampton (NOCS) and will give you a comprehensive understanding of global marine sciences and the biology of marine organisms and their relationship with their environment. You will develop your understanding in a progressive fashion, adding knowledge and practical skills over time from work in the laboratory, field, and on board our research vessels, which are moored just minutes away from the lecture theatres at our Waterfront campus.
