Delivered by experts from the School of Biological Sciences and the School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy, it features industry-aligned training, expert-led teaching on disease mechanisms and therapies, and embedded placements in healthcare environments, preparing graduates for roles in the NHS and beyond.Tailored pathways allow specialisation in key areas: the Diseases pathway examines genetic and physiological disease bases; the Medical Devices pathway focuses on innovative technologies; and the Clinical and Medical Sciences pathway addresses global health challenges. Supported by partnerships with institutions like the Royal Berkshire Hospital, this course ensures real-world experience from the outset, fostering career-ready expertise.
