About the course

Our interior design course emphasizes responsive design to the surrounding environment, exploring hands-on interventions in existing buildings and neglected spaces. We study the interplay between objects and architecture, promoting adaptive reuse with human, social, economic, and environmental sustainability at the core.User-centered and inclusive, our approach prioritizes people—sometimes even cats—in design, fostering awareness of space's psychological impact on health, wellbeing, productivity, and happiness. Sensory and immersive experiences with materials and systems enhance user engagement. Future-focused, we leverage technology, VR, and AR to address contemporary issues. Expert-led by lecturers with experience at Lego, British Airways, LG, Sony, and more, the program centers making—from model-building to 1:1 prototyping—in interdisciplinary studios with blended learning and diverse projects spanning scales and sectors like residential, workplace, hospitality, exhibitions, and public realms.
