About the course

The Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management at KU offers an undergraduate program that builds upon general education and introductory courses through seven core classes and an 18-semester-hour business minor. Students study topics including sociology of sport, ethics, facilities and event management, law, finance and economics, marketing, and personnel management. The program culminates in a semester-long internship in a student-chosen area of sport management, preparing graduates for entry-level positions in intercollegiate athletics, professional sports, recreational programs, and the fitness industry.
