Students can enhance their marketability by declaring a concentration alongside their major.The curriculum totals 120 undergraduate credit hours, including general education courses (such as those meeting KU Core requirements), prerequisites like MATH 115, PSYC 104, and a lab science, 20 hours of foundation business classes, 18 hours of core business classes, and 18 hours of finance courses (including FIN 410 and FIN 415). Students must also complete an accounting course (e.g., 321 or 410) and the capstone MGMT 498. The International Dimension Requirement can be fulfilled through foreign language proficiency up to intermediate II, study abroad, or relevant international studies. Maintaining a high GPA and applying to the KU Finance Scholars Program are essential for success in financial fields.
