Our BSc (Hons) in Live Sound, Lighting and Performance is a distinguished option within our Undergraduate Music Programme. This engaging course covers essential sound principles, including acoustics, capture, reinforcement, music studio design, signal theory, processing, synthesis, audio electronics, networked and multichannel systems, and storage. Upon mastering these fundamentals, students advance to venue-based audio applications, spanning concert halls to festivals, while also exploring video, lighting, augmentation, and virtual reality in live events and broadcasting contexts.Throughout the programme, you will collaborate closely with peers from the School of Creative Arts, including those in Music Production, Audio Engineering, and Songwriting, fostering the teamwork essential in the industry.
