It prepares students to meet the standards for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, including financial support of at least £5,000 annually for eligible students. The program incorporates state-of-the-art simulation facilities, integrated research skills, and real-world engagement through scenario-based learning and collaborations with clinicians. Students benefit from creative assessments in the final year's Emergent Practitioner Skills module, such as e-portfolios and mock interviews, alongside three clinical placements to develop practical expertise with experienced therapists.
