This LLB programme offers a comprehensive foundation for a legal career, including the option to undertake a professional placement of up to a year with a law firm, in-house team, or industry. It provides a rigorous grounding in legal principles, examining law across theoretical, social, regional, and global contexts. Students can tailor their studies through a wide range of optional modules in the second and final years, while the Exeter Law Projects programme enables participation in pro bono activities to apply legal knowledge in practice.The programme equips graduates with essential skills for professional qualification, covering the 'foundations of legal knowledge' required for barristers. Further training is needed to meet the requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Bar Standards Board, or equivalent bodies.
