History and Modern Languages, BA (Hons)

This program explores international, economic, cultural, and social history across regions including the Americas, parts of Asia, Britain, and Europe. It develops skills in spoken and written language, analytical thinking, and a deeper appreciation of diverse cultures.Set in historic Exeter, with its museums, art galleries, and extensive university library collections, students can participate in extracurricular activities such as language societies, tandem partnerships, community liaison, and the UK's only public Translation! Festival.
