Electrical and Electronic Engineering, BEng (Hons), with study abroad

Electrical and electronic engineers are pivotal in advancing society across sectors like transport, power generation, heating, and cooling. This UEA course cultivates innovation, collaboration, and ingenuity to address major challenges. In the first year, an integrated program builds foundational knowledge, skills, and industry connections. From the second year, students specialise in electrical and electronic engineering, enhancing theoretical and practical expertise, before spending the third year abroad at partner universities to develop self-management, confidence, and flexibility. Studies conclude with an individual project at UEA.From the outset, students access industry-standard facilities, including CAD stations, 3D printers, collaborative robots, and electronics labs for experiments and system modelling. Industry ties, such as the Select Partnership Scheme, facilitate employer connections, internships, and graduate opportunities.
