To pursue the MSc in Mental Health Nursing, applicants must hold an undergraduate degree. As a mental health nurse, you will support individuals across various settings and challenges, including completing a dissertation on a chosen topic for the MSc.A substantial portion of the population faces mental health issues in their lifetime, and this course equips you to aid their recovery by developing practical and cognitive skills, emerging as a skilled practitioner. You will engage in diverse environments, such as urban hospitals, rural areas, and home settings, while splitting your time equally between City Campus learning and placements in healthcare facilities. These placements build hands-on expertise, complemented by practical training in our clinical skills centre, ultimately granting an academic qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
