Artificial Intelligence, BEng (Hons), with industry placement

The primary objective of this course is to deliver a comprehensive education in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its associated technologies, equipping graduates with the essential knowledge and skills to select and apply appropriate AI techniques across various domains.To support this goal, the course aims to: provide a systematic study of AI theories and principles, encompassing fundamental areas like theoretical computer science, mathematics, programming, and software engineering; develop proficiency in programming languages for creating AI and Machine Learning software; enhance abilities to analyze problems, devise solutions, and represent knowledge using suitable AI methods; offer opportunities for practical, team-based application of AI in industrial contexts; and foster key skills and competencies to facilitate career progression in the AI industry or advanced academic pursuits.
