About the course

This three-year dual honours course provides a thorough understanding of core business management principles, alongside economic analysis and policy, delivered through collaboration between Sheffield University Management School and the Department of Economics. In the first year, students explore foundational topics such as information systems, marketing, operations management, and economic principles. Subsequent years focus on advanced business areas like corporate social responsibility, organisational behaviour, and strategy, with opportunities to customise studies through modules in microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and labour economics.Supported by expert faculty, including world-leading academics from both departments, students apply theoretical knowledge to real-world case studies and team projects. The programme emphasises hands-on experience, employability through dedicated career support, and benefits from the Management School's Triple Crown accreditation. Note that this course does not award Qualified Teacher Status.
