Neuroscience involves the study of the nervous system, brain function, and how cellular interactions influence behavior. Research in this field aims to deepen understanding of the nervous system's structure, including its operations, development, malfunctions, and potential modifications, with the goal of advancing treatments for conditions such as stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, mental illness, cancer, toxicity, and trauma.This course does not award qualified teacher status (QTS), which is required to teach in state schools in England or Wales.
