Our joint programmes enable students to pursue law in conjunction with another discipline, such as the four-year LLB in Law and International Relations. This course draws from offerings in both the Law School and the School of Social and Political Science, fostering advanced knowledge of legal theories, concepts, and principles, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the state system's origins, evolution, and the dynamics of state power.International relations examines issues that cross national borders, including conflicts and cooperative efforts. Students will investigate key questions, such as how states navigate a complex, interconnected world, address challenges like climate change, economic inequality, and warfare, and whether notions of sovereignty, democracy, and justice require adaptation. Guided by expert academics, the programme explores the rise of global non-state actors, the influence of international institutions, and the drivers of cooperation and conflict.
