Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) is a dynamic interdisciplinary course that equips students with essential knowledge of three fields vital for navigating contemporary global challenges. In the first year, students build a shared foundation, culminating in an advanced dissertation in the final year that integrates insights across politics, philosophy, and economics. The program offers flexibility, allowing graduates to earn a BSc in PPE, a BA in PPE, or a BA in Politics and Philosophy with Economics, while emphasizing connections between disciplines.The curriculum delves into political ideas and processes worldwide, including topics like democracy, migration, and comparative institutions, alongside a strong grounding in British and international governance. Philosophy explores core enquiries such as logic, epistemology, and metaphysics, with options in ancient and modern traditions. Economics provides a comprehensive education in theories, analytical methods, and statistical skills, enabling students to address real-world problems and prepare for diverse careers through interdisciplinary analysis.
