Our four-year Artificial Intelligence programme with a year in industry provides a robust foundation in computing, emphasising AI through practical experience and skills gained in real-world placements. This prepares graduates for dynamic careers in AI, which influences areas like image recognition, data security, and autonomous systems. The curriculum covers essential topics such as programming, software engineering, machine learning, and robotics, with flexible modules in years two and four. Students access state-of-the-art facilities, including laboratories and a Big Data cluster, and benefit from collaborations with leading tech firms.The department, renowned for its research and supportive environment, offers personalised guidance and a vibrant community. Assessment combines examinations and assignments like essays and presentations, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of technical and transferable skills such as teamwork and communication. If a placement cannot proceed, students may transfer to a three-year BSc equivalent.
