The BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree adopts a person-centred approach to health and wellbeing, emphasising respect for equality and diversity. It aims to develop creative, motivated, flexible, resilient physiotherapists attuned to individual needs. Students gain insight into how movement, function, and physical activity support health across individual, family, community, and population levels.Delivery combines university-based and practice-based learning, integrating academic knowledge with critical understanding through lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops, and technology-enhanced methods. These foster reflection on practice, appreciation of theory-practice integration, enquiry-based active participation, and critical engagement with research to inform evidence-based practice. The course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
