In partnership with NHS colleagues, we deliver a pre-registration BSc Nursing Science (Mental Health) degree that meets the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s ‘Future Nurse’ standards, preparing you to lead in the profession.You will study an integrated curriculum split between Coach Lane Campus and clinical placements, following the standard semester system with Easter and summer breaks for projects, internships, or rest. The programme fosters curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in evidence-based care, enabling compassionate impact on mental health and wellbeing for individuals, families, and communities. Mental health nursing students are encouraged to join a short-term international programme with partner Think Pacific to boost employability. Graduates achieve NMC registration as Registered Nurses, equipped with critical thinking for complex healthcare challenges.
