What you will learn

The Human Resource Management major offered by the La Trobe Business School provides an understanding of the theories, concepts and processes that drive human resource management to achieve positive organisational outcomes. You explore areas including strategic human resource management, recruitment and selection practices, employment relations, performance management; international human resource management; rewards and benefits; the link between employee attitudes, wellbeing and performance; change management; and human resource analytics. We develop your problem solving, critical thinking and negotiation skills, and promote the UN’s Principles of Responsible Management in our curriculum. The Bachelor of Business with a major in HRM has been accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).
