About the course

Our four year MEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering course is delivered in a way that is unique to Aston. You will complete years one to three alongside the BEng students, your final year modules are then delivered via distance learning, allowing you to undertake them whilst on an internship, work placement or in employment in the biomedical engineering industry, applying what you have learnt to your real-life work. This course bridges the gap between health, medicine and engineering. In fact, we’re partners in the Medical Device Testing and Evaluation centre (MD-TEC) based in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
