Biomedical Engineering, MEng (Hons)

Our four-year IMechE-accredited degree equips aspiring biomedical engineers with essential practical skills, knowledge, and experience to innovate in medical technology. Students develop expertise in designing medical devices, diagnostic tools, prosthetics, and therapies, supported by strong connections to UK and international industries, state-of-the-art facilities, and faculty collaborations with hospitals and medical forums. This enables engagement with over 100 companies, providing hands-on experience in real-world healthcare solutions within an entrepreneurial setting.We foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, with dedicated academics delivering high-quality teaching. Assessments align with learning outcomes and include exams, essays, reports, presentations, projects, and computer-based methods, incorporating individual and group work to build innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills.
