Part of the prestigious Q-Step programme, it develops skills in data analysis, statistical techniques, and applied research, tailored for those without an advanced mathematical background. Topics include data types and manipulation, web scraping, algorithms, sequences, iteration, and data visualisation. In the second and third years, a wide range of optional modules allows flexibility to customise the degree and build expertise in various areas.Students will acquire comprehensive social and data science skills, preparing for careers in business intelligence, analytics, data journalism, market research, and social research.
