How do I make an international payment to the university?

Most universities allow a variety of payment methods, including bank telegraphic transfer, bank draft, direct bank transfer (if you have a foreign currency bank account) and credit card (for universities that offer online payment option).

Arguably the most popular option is bank telegraphic transfer. This involves going to your local bank with the university's bank account and payment details, completing a telegraphic transfer form, and getting the bank teller to assist you with the money transfer. The bank will charge an administrative fee plus a bank handling fee for both your account and for the university's bank account.

To save you the hassle of the transfer and to minimise your currency exchange risk, we are offering a free bank transfer service for all our students. As a student, you can make a local payment to us in SGD, and we will handle the international payment for you.
