When to apply for my UK student visa?

Your UK student visa application window opens 3 months before the start of your course.

As soon as you receive the CAS letter from your university, you should start to apply for your visa.

An early application will ensure that you receive your visa in a timely manner and well ahead of your scheduled departure. You will also have the time to resolve any issues that may crop up during the course of your application.
