How long does it take to apply a UK student visa?
The time required to apply for your student visa depends on a number of factors, including your nationality, travel history and time of the year that you are applying.
The process can be as short as 10 days. However if your case is complex, and if you are requested to attend an interview or submit additional documents, the process can take up to a couple of months.
In general though, this is what you can expect:
- From Online application to appointment at VFS centre -> 2-7 days
- From appointment at VFS centre to Visa Issuance -> 2-3 weeks
