This varies with individuals. The most common way to pay your tuition fees is to make direct transfers from your bank account in Singapore to the university. This means that you do not need to bring that amount of money overseas.

However you may find it more convenient to transfer a reasonable amount of money for your daily living expenses. You can send as much as you think is required for your living expenditure for any given study period, but our advice is to send in larger amounts each time, so that you can minimise bank transfer charges from having to do multiple transfers.
