Philosophy and Modern Languages, BA (Hons)

This course enables students to engage with enduring philosophical questions concerning science, reality, ethics, art, beauty, and the mind-body relationship, while developing strong written and spoken skills in a modern language and gaining insights into diverse cultures.In later years, a wide array of optional modules allows for tailoring the degree to personal interests and career goals. Students can join Philosophy and Language societies, participate in socials, seminars, and guest speaker events, building versatile skills valued by employers in media, education, and public, private, or charity sectors.
