This course provides a strong foundation in the key themes and methods of Art History and Visual Culture, while enhancing your critical, imaginative, and practical engagement with the social, historical, and cultural contexts of theatre. It equips students with essential tools to interpret various works of art, including architecture and design, as well as images, objects, and practices, encompassing traditional fine arts and contemporary visual forms such as painting, sculpture, illustration, film, video, performance, and digital art.Studio-based activities develop communication, organization, creative, and analytical skills, offering equal opportunities to act, direct, write, or create dramatic events.
