This in-depth technical degree, taught at UCA Farnham, is designed to help you become adept at building programmes for a growing range of digital platforms.You’ll gain the fundamental technical skills in software programming and development for contemporary environments, whether this is on a local device, on the web, or utilising Cloud technologies. And you’ll do this through predominantly hands-on learning, together with accompanying contextual and theoretical lectures and seminars.Your studies will culminate in an exhibition of work developed during the year and a major project, based on your own interests.You will complete a Professional Practice Year as part of this course. This will give you the opportunity to develop your professional, academic and personal potential, equipping you to be confident and engaged in creative workplaces. Employers widely recognise these qualities, and a significant proportion of placement students are offered graduate-level jobs or go onto postgraduate study.
