Urban Studies, BA (Hons)

This BA Urban Studies course examines the past, present, and future of urban and built environments through cutting-edge theories and practices in politics, economics, design, sociology, environmental studies, and geography. Students explore interdisciplinary approaches to anticipate and shape urban spaces, fostering creative thinking about cities and spatial change. Over three years, the program provides practical grounding in core knowledge, key issues like climate change and inequalities, and skills in urbanism and planning, complemented by academic work, live projects, field trips, and optional modules.
