About the course

This four-year dual honours course integrates intensive Chinese language and culture studies with core business management topics, including marketing, organisational behaviour, and strategy. Students begin learning Chinese from the basics, immersing themselves in the language, history, politics, and society of Chinese-speaking regions while applying insights to business contexts. Time is divided between the Management School and the School of East Asian Studies, culminating in a year abroad at Nanjing University for deeper cultural and language immersion. The program equips graduates with expertise in Chinese business, politics, and language, making them competitive for careers across East Asia and the UK. Supported by experienced staff and authentic materials, it offers opportunities for internships, skill development, and real-world experience, fostering a unique portfolio of abilities through research-led teaching and employability support.
