You will complete two degrees in four years concurrently. Early in your degree, you’ll choose introductory units that will help you experience your preferred majors or explore Indigenous perspectives. Using this experience, you then decide upon a Bachelor of Creative Industries major of eight units from:
creative and professional writing
drama and performance
entertainment
fashion communication
interactive and visual design
media and communication
music and sound
screen content production
Through the Data Science degree core units you will cover the theory and the practical tools for data acquisition, storage, management, processing, analysis and visualisation. Ethical considerations, communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills are all given detailed coverage. Your progression through the Data Science degree has been carefully crafted to cater for the diversity of specialist mathematics skills, to scaffold your development in coding – particularly in data science relevant languages – and to prepare you for a rewarding career.
