If your ambition is to build a sustainable career across film, television, screen, emerging media sectors, and stage then this course offers you the range of learning, training and performance opportunities you need. You will receive extensive training in voice, speech production, physical expressivity, character, acting methodologies, script analysis, local and international film and television industries and theatre. With a strong focus on wellbeing you will learn in an inclusive and supportive environment. You will also gain an international perspective, through on-campus learning and international study experiences. This degree will build your understanding around the importance of cultural diversity, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, in increasingly globalised creative fields. Since film, television, screen, and theatre industries need a diversity of skilled young actors, we welcome applications from aspiring actors of all backgrounds via audition. Tailor your acting degree for your future with a second major or a combination of other creative field majors, minors and specialised units across multiple subjects.
