Study at the oldest and largest podiatry school in Australia.La Trobe’s Bachelor of Applied Science/Master of Podiatry Practice trains a significant proportion of Australia’s podiatry students. Graduates will be prepared for a long-term career improving the mobility and quality of life for people with lower-limb injuries, chronic illness and disability.In first and second year, you’ll learn about the role of health professionals in the community, the fundamentals of biosciences and the factors that influence health. Develop skills in podiatric practice, medical assessment, case management and gain a deeper understanding of complex conditions like diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis.During third and fourth years you’ll undertake around 1,000 hours of placements at our on-campus podiatry clinic, in community health centres, hospitals and private practice under the guidance of qualified clinicians.La Trobe is the Australian market leader for podiatry practice:
