Our hands-on Game Art course will help you build a deep understanding of the contexts, tools, and workflows that underpin the production of compelling assets for games, virtual production and extended reality (XR) applications. You’ll learn from experienced teaching staff and industry professionals with real-world experience of workflow planning, character creation, environment design and more. We’ll help get you ready for a career as a creative, technical professional with critical knowledge of game art and virtual production techniques, and well rounded communication skills.The course introduces you to the concepts, tools and techniques that underpin game art, incorporating studio work, project design and development, collaborative working, and deep-dive studying - each helping you gain a production-led understanding of the functions and effects of game art in a fast-moving creative landscape.You’ll develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills, explore the emerging fields of XR and virtual production, sharpen your artistic flair and technical proficiency and work on live briefs delivered by real clients.
