The Web and Multimedia Developer is generally accountable for the functionality of the final Website whether it is viewed in a browser or an App. They have to work all of the information and requirement provided by the client into a functional, intriguing, user-friendly design that has the “wow” factor and keeps users coming back to the site.
As a Web & Multimedia Developer you need to have varied and numerous technical skills. Some of these aspects include understanding how programming languages such as HTML (the language that web sites are written in), javascript and PHP works, database management and graphic design. Blend all these skills into making a web page that seamlessly access user’s requests, updates information and graphics, and plays well with relaying information to and from servers, while working on simultaneous platforms (OSX, Windows) and browsers (Safari, Firefox, Explorer) and you can see it a mighty challenging job. Oh and let’s not forget, it has to look really nice too.
